About us

EFKA office is part of EFKA, the specialist and producer of aluminium frames. The company started in 1888 as a wholesaler in wooden frames, operating under the name 'Foppe Klijnstra & Zoon'. In 2009 we started the production of aluminium textile frames and light boxes.

Our frames are used in the sign industry, but also in offices such as wall frames, desk partitions and room dividers. The frames can be used in combination with acoustic materials to achieve high acoustic damping which comes with the ability to greatly improve the sound experience. We deliver our products worldwide.

The aluminium of our products is 100 percent recyclable. This, in combination with Cradle-to-Cradle acoustic material, ensures a qualitative and sustainable product.

We have a large stock of dividers, which in combination with our production capacity of more than 1,000 dividers per day ensures a fast delivery.

Compose it yourself

We offer a complete solution, an (un)lit frame in combination with acoustic material and/or a textile. The textiles of the frames are easily changeable, so you can quickly adjust the atmosphere in a room. The product is supplied as a ready-to-use package and can, therefore, be installed immediately. All you have to do is determine the size, upholstery, frame colour and the type of attachment.

Sustainability

As a producer of acoustic frames, we take responsibility in the field of sustainability. The aluminium from which we make our products is 100 percent recyclable. Our acoustic material is 100 percent recyclable and made of polyester fibres, 60 percent of which come from recycled PET bottles. At the end of their lifespan, our products can be returned to our company in Drachten to be reused. Read more.
