Good acoustics are becoming increasingly important in creating pleasant living and working spaces. The use of a lot of glass, cast floors and other hard materials is a current trend. Due to the lack of soft materials, sound repeatedly reflects off the walls, floor and ceiling. Bad acoustics can be very tiring. Noise can even be harmful to your health on a long-term basis.
Acoustic wall frames are one of the most beautiful solutions to improve the acoustics in a room. The dimension of the frame and the thickness of the acoustic material determine to what extent the noise is absorbed. Do you prefer a wall frames that can literally and figuratively make the difference? Then choose our curved wall frames. A curved frame adds playfulness, but it can also be used as a sleek eye-catcher.
Acoustic wall frames are suitable for any wall and available in almost any size. The frame has a maximum size of 1.6 metres on the shortest side, the other side can be as long as you want. If you opt for your own textile print, there is no maximum size for the frame. You can opt for a frame that fills part of the wall, but also for a wall-filling frame. The frame comes with rounded corners, so that there are no sharp edges. You can choose from our standard frame colours black, white or silver, but you can also opt for a unique colour, such as gold, mint green or purple-red. Would you like to determine the colour yourself? Enter your desired RAL colour and we will powder coat the profile in the colour of your choice.
The frame has a depth of 2.7 or 5 cm. In order to be able to send a wall frame conveniently to our customers, round locksets are included, so that you can connect the corners of a profile yourself. What is next is that you mount the acoustic material in the wall frame, after which the textile is attached to the frame by pressing the rubber lip into the groove. If desired, it is possible to have the wall frame delivered pre-assembled.
Therm Acoustic is 100 percent recyclable and made of polyester fibres, 60 percent of which come from recycled PET bottles. The material has the B1 fire classification, which means that it is not easily flammable. In the frame with a depth of 2.7 cm, the acoustic material is 25 mm thick and, in the frame with a depth of 5 cm, the material is 40 mm thick. The advantage of the frame with a depth of 5 cm is that it has a higher sound absorption due to the thicker layer of acoustic material.
The frame can be attached to the wall by using wallmounts, which are included. Attach the wall mounts on the wall first. Then lift the whole textile frame over the wall mounts and rest it on the brackets in the designated track.
