Sustainability

100 percent sustainable

As a producer of acoustic frames, we take responsibility in the field of sustainability. The aluminium from which we make our products is 100 percent recyclable, whereas we waste as little aluminium as possible. The energy consumption during the production of aluminium is high. In contrast, the raw material has a long lifespan. About 75 percent of the aluminium ever produced is still in use. This, in combination with the recycling of the material, makes aluminium a sustainable raw material.

A second life for all our products

At the end of their lifespan, our products can be returned to our company in Drachten to be reused. At first, we verify whether the frames can be used one-on-one for another project. If this is not possible, for instance due to size, colour or damage, the frames are recycled into reusable aluminium. This way the raw material is always preserved and waste is prevented.

Sustainable acoustic solution

With our acoustic material you are fully equipped with a completely sustainable product. This material is 100 percent recyclable and made of polyester fibres, 60 percent of which come from recycled PET bottles.

Recyclable prints

The canvases used in the frames are easily interchangeable, so that the frame can be reused by the customer, for example for a new campaign or a new look. Nowadays, many prints are also recyclable, which means that, in combination with the aluminium frames and the acoustic material, a fully sustainable product can be delivered.

 Sustainable packaging

We also take responsibility when it comes to logistics. Here, we reduce the use of our packaging and filling material as much as possible. We do this by making the packaging of our products to measure. Furthermore, we also produce from a single location, which means that an order arrives at the customer in fewer transport movements. Additionally, we try to bundle as many packages as possible that have to be sent to the same address. This means that our carrier has to make fewer trips. These are just a few examples of how we are working on reducing our impact on the environment every day.
